Yoga

Be kind to your body, gentle with your mind and patient with your heart ~ Becca Lee.

Yoga is the connection of mind, body and breath. It builds strength and flexibility of the body and it quietens the mind.

Yoga philosophy teaches us to be kind to ourselves and others, on and off the mat. We learn to be curious about ourselves and to trust who we are, not who we think we should be, in the way we move and breathe, find stillness and come home to ourselves.

I teach a vinyasa flow style of yoga class as well as Yin yoga. Sometimes the class will be focussed on a particular asana, or area of the body. The class could be focussed on a particular theme. For example, I offer a class designed for surfers and swimmers.

The classes are centred on building strength, flexibility and balance while connecting to the breath. Yoga teaches us mindfulness and helps us to develop confidence and patience.

My intention is to bring kindness and humanity to my practice, my teaching and in my life.
